RANCHO SAN DIEGO - March 29, 2013 - INFORMATION FROM RADIO TRAFFIC/SERGEANT: A bar fight at TGI Fridays got out of hand and led to handcuffs and stretchers. One male had major facial trauma and was transported to Sharp Memorial while handcuffed. He was insistent that he was not going to allow medics to transport him to the hospital, even though he clearly needed medical attention. Medics tried to tell him he likely had a broken nose and other injuries. You can see 5 deputies, plus several medics putting him on the stretcher. Another two males were detained, with one being driven away (total of 2 arrested). Another male would be seen holding an ice pack on his face, and an employee was also possibly punched. To be honest I have lost count on how many people were detained. What exactly started the brawl is unclear. The black sedan is the vehicle belonging to several of the involved parties. The motorcycle appears to belong to the male that was transported because deputies carried a motorcycle helmet and backpack in to the ambulance.
